About
A concert by New York musician and comic artist Jeffrey Lewis with his band The Voltage at the El Lokal club. Born in 1975 on the Lower East Side, he has spent over twenty years playing a gritty urban indie folk somewhere between antifolk, garage rock and country. Live, you get odd guitar chords, monumental spoken-word passages and wild comic projections and films. The current album "The Even More Freewheelin' Jeffrey Lewis" from 2025, recorded in Nashville, also features.
