Jugendworkshop: Future Prototyping – Wie sieht der Orbit von morgen aus?
ETH OAT, Andreasstrasse 5, 8050 Zürich, Kreis 11
About
A workshop for young people that turns future questions about space into tangible objects. It deals with low Earth orbit, which is getting crowded with ever more satellites: limited space, space debris, the question of whether we may soon see fewer stars because of satellites, and new professions such as space garbage collection. Rather than only talking about scenarios in theory, participants creatively build the tools for a sustainable future in space. The workshop is run by the Berlin museum Futurium, a house of futures with an exhibition, a lab and a forum, and is aimed at young people aged 13 and up.
