KASSIA Byzantinische Dichterin erste bekannte Komponistin

A transdisciplinary project uniting poetry, music and painting, inspired by the legendary Kassia, a Byzantine poet and the first known composer. The study covers exclusively the works recognized by critics as original compositions by Kassia. It reveals the writer's themes and poetic tendencies through linguistic, rhetorical and metrical analysis, translated by Prof. Roberto Fusco and recited by Isabel Lampe. It is musically accompanied by Giovanni Del Monte and embedded in the painter Ladina Durisch's world of images.
