About
"Kein perfektes Design" is a talk about how human colour vision came about and why our seeing is far from perfect. It is hosted by the Forum für kritisches Denken, which has invited Prof. Dr. Stephan C. F. Neuhauss, Professor of Neurobiology and Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Zurich. He shows how our colour vision evolved – with impressive abilities but also limitations and compromises. The very imperfections of our visual system offer clues to its origins; afterwards there is time for questions and discussion.
