Kinder-Uni Winterthur: insects, superheroes on six legs.

This is a lecture for children in grades 4 to 6 from the Kinder-Uni Winterthur, about insects as high-tech creatures on six legs. The children's university is a series run by the Natural Science Society Winterthur (NGW) together with the ZHAW School of Engineering, bringing renowned researchers to give exciting lectures every two weeks. The talk covers how the insect body is built, antennae as super-sensors, insects as models for drone development and records such as a springtail leaping up to 100 times its body length. Attendance is free, but registration is required.
