Lakecia Benjamin, Grammy-nominated jazz saxophonist.

Lakecia Benjamin performs jazz at the Moods club in Zurich's Schiffbau. The US saxophonist began as a sought-after sideman for stars like Alicia Keys and Missy Elliott before developing into a distinct voice of her own. After jazz-funk beginnings, she turned in 2020 with «Pursuance: The Coltranes» to Bebop and Spiritual Jazz, and her album «Phoenix» (2023) earned three Grammy nominations. Her new work «We Dream» opens a new chapter.
