A talk in the lecture series «Die Sprache der Macht. Die Macht der Sprache» titled «LGBTQ+ Free Zones, Language Brutalisation and Legal Resistance in Poland». The series is organised by the Kommission UZH Interdisziplinär (UZH-i) and examines the relationship between language and power from various scholarly perspectives. The speaker is Prof. Jakub Urbanik, holder of the Chair of Roman Law and the Law of Antiquity at the University of Warsaw. The talk addresses the LGBTQ+ free zones in Poland, the brutalisation of language and legal resistance.
