Long Distance Relationship

“Long Distance Relationship” is a solo exhibition by artist Louisa Gagliardi. In it, the Zurich gallery shows her works on the tension between closeness and distance: relationships emerge between the pieces, the visitors, and an uncertain world. Gagliardi paints digitally, prints the images on PVC, and subsequently works on them with various types of varnish, such as nail polish. The result is glossy, ambiguous surfaces that unfold visible narratives yet elude any final interpretation.
