Madame Frigo

Madame Frigo is a publicly accessible fridge outside GZ Oerlikon where everyone can leave and take food to share. The offering is run by GZ Oerlikon together with volunteers from the neighbourhood as part of the association Madame Frigo, which according to the text cares for over 160 such fridges. Fruit, vegetables, bread and sealed products past their best-before but not use-by date are allowed; meat, fish, alcohol and opened or cooked products are not. Use is at your own responsibility, and the volunteers clean the fridge and regularly check its contents.
