About

Nubiyan Twist is a nine-piece collective from Leeds, counted among Britain's most respected live bands. The band blends jazz, Afrobeat, soul, hip-hop and dance music into global grooves with British jazz finesse and infectious rhythms. In 2026 they perform at Moods at Schiffbau with a brand-new line-up and live show. After celebrated collaborations with musicians such as Nile Rogers, Tony Allen, Seun Kuti and Fatoumata Diawara, the band has been nominated for the MOBO and AIM Awards.
