OPEN CALL: poetry slam

The Schenkhaus is holding an open call for poetry slammers and people who want to become one, inviting submissions for a slot until 25 October 2026. It leads up to the poetry slam «Verschenkt» on 27 November 2026 at the Schenkhaus, curated by Vera Rieger and Benjamin Graf, where an established slammer and a newbie perform as a team. Poetry slam has brought self-written texts to the stage since the 1980s, traditionally for a bottle of whisky — here a different small prize is offered instead. Up to three people can be considered, with replies sent by 7 November 2026.
