The documentary PALLIATIVSTATION portrays several months of everyday life in a palliative care ward of a Berlin hospital. Filmmaker Philipp Döring follows doctors on their rounds and in talks with relatives, listening in on the care team's internal exchanges. In this protected space, life paths are reflected on, progress is celebrated and partings mourned. Afterwards there is a discussion with the film's protagonist Dr. Sebastian Pfrang.
