Reden wir darüber: AI and spiritual care.

A talk with discussion about artificial intelligence as a conversation partner in psychotherapy and spiritual care. The guest is Dr. Jana Sedlakova, a philosopher and ethicist at the Ethox Centre of the University of Oxford; the discussion is led and moderated by Paul Ludigs of aki and Sebastian Muders of the Paulus Akademie. The event takes place in cooperation with aki, Katholische Hochschulgemeinde, and asks what it means that more and more people turn to AI with emotional distress and questions of meaning. Among the issues debated are responsibility when a chatbot responds falsely or inappropriately, and whether AI gives people access to support who would otherwise seek none.
