Relaxed Reading mit Monika Goldefusova

«Relaxed Reading mit Monika Goldefusova» is a relaxed reading performance for children aged 4 and up and their companions at Theater Stadelhofen. The first edition of this new format tells the cheerful Indian fable «Wie die Ziege den Löwen überlistet», in which a clever goat ends up in a lion's cave and outwits both the lion and a jackal. Monika Goldefusová, a Czech artist who grew up in a deaf family, tells the story in Swiss German sign language with spoken-language interpretation, bringing it to life with colourful pictures and animal hats. Children guess along, learn simple signs, try on the hats and playfully imitate the animals – a fantastical experience for deaf and hearing audiences at a relaxed performance with light in the hall and an open door.
