Ruzicka Prize for Alexandria Deliz Liang, with lecture.

The Ruzicka Prize Ceremony & Lecture is the presentation of the Ruzicka Prize, one of Switzerland's most important awards for promoting young scientists in chemistry. It is organised by ETH Zurich's Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences (D-CHAB); the prize, named after the ETH professor and Nobel laureate Leopold Ruzicka, is supported by dsm-firmenich and endowed with 10,000 CHF. The 2026 prize goes to Alexandria Deliz Liang, Assistant Professor for Digital Bioinorganic Chemistry at the University of Zurich, for her innovative use of genetically encoded non-canonical amino acids to understand and control enzyme catalysis. As part of the ceremony, the awardee gives a lecture in room J4 of the HCI building.
