About

A talk about the Nix language and package manager. Valentin Kaas looks at lesser-known facts about the language, historical implementation decisions, compatibility hacks, and behavior that only makes sense once you know the archaeology behind it. Ranging from mildly confusing to wonderfully cursed. The talk takes place at VSETH TheAlternative at Universitätstrasse 6, 8092 Zürich in Zürich.
