About

Short guided tours of about twenty minutes are devoted to the famous Laetoli footprints, which visitors compare with their own prints on the temperature-sensitive thermal floor. The tours start on the half and full hour and are recommended for children from the age of eight, younger ones only accompanied by an adult. They take place at the Natural History Museum of the University of Zurich, whose exhibition «Vielfältige Zweibeiner» explores how humans learned to walk and features ancestors such as the famous «Lucy» and Homo erectus. Places are limited, tickets are available only at the reception desk, and reservations are not possible.
