About
Spurfrei is the monthly stage for free improvisation at Mehrspur: free improvisation with all means, and everybody is welcome. As opener, trumpeter and composer Isaac Dubow performs, born in New York City in 2001 and now based in Basel, whose artistic work focuses on improvisation. He concentrates on developing a shared sound and repertoire with other improvisers and has performed at renowned venues in New York, New England and Berlin. Besides music, he writes, gives readings and composes short stories accompanying his solo improvisations.
