Stimmungen. Lieder, sånger, lauluja.

A concert of songs in Finnish and Finland Swedish, performed a cappella and with piano accompaniment, in the modern Leimbach church in Zurich. The Voce vocal ensemble, with pianist Stefka Perifanova and Balthasar Streiff on animal horns, presents its latest programme. At its heart are poems by the Finland Swedish poet Edith Södergran and other Finnish writers, set to music by composers including Sibelius, Madetoja, Liimola, Cecilia Damström and Silvan Loher, whose song cycles receive their Swiss premiere there; the composer will attend and offer insights into his work. Before the concert, a 'Meet & Greet the Artists' invites personal exchange with the musicians.
