A book launch with reading and talk about «Ohne Flugzeug in die Ferne» at Verein Labör in Zurich Oerlikon. Author Pauline Kalender and author Ole Henner Maaß tell of their almost two-year journey through 25 countries without flying – from sleeping in the open air on the Chinese Wall and drinking chai in the Himalayas to crossing the Mongolian Gobi desert and crossing the equator on an Indonesian ferry. Their book is a travel guide full of practical tips for climate-friendly travel over land and water, combined with personal stories and anecdotes. The event is the last stop of their Swiss tour; in conversation with Terran Schweiz, an association promoting the visibility and normality of travel without planes, there is room for questions from the audience.
