Tim & Puma Mimi: electro with toothpaste flute and vocoder.

Tim & Puma Mimi play electro at Moods im Schiffbau in Zurich. The Swiss-Japanese duo is known for its techno cucumber, toothpaste flute and Skype concerts, and was last heard in the Hollywood film «Ghost in the Shell». After a seven-year break for childcare, they now present their new album «More or Less Tim & Puma Mimi» with twelve tracks. The new songs feature a pocket-operator synthesizer that looks like a calculator and sounds like a Gameboy, a vocoder for Mimi's unique singing, and the KoTaMo, a mix of koto, tambura and monochord, with stronger Japanese musical elements such as flute melodies, crickets and folk songs.
