Towards a Social Science of Living: Stories of Love and Loss
ETH OAT, Andreasstrasse 5, 8050 Zürich, Kreis 11
About
A public keynote asks how we might imagine living in a world of loss differently if we train our curiosity on what sustains life. Dr. Roxani Krystalli, a Senior Lecturer in International Relations at the University of St Andrews, shares insights from three years of researching practices of love and care in the wake of loss. She is the Principal Investigator of an international research project on love, care, and loss, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the German Research Foundation. The talk is part of the two-day symposium "What Keeps the World Turning?" at ETH Zürich, will be held in English, and requires registration.
