Truth or Justice – That Is the Question / Excluding Truth in the Name of Justice / Rechtssicherheit versus Falsifikation: Wahrheitsfindung im Strafprozess / Beweis das mal! Wahrheit(en) im Zivilprozess

A session of the lecture series 'Wahrheit und Lüge' (Truth and Lies) at the University of Zurich, consisting of several short contributions. It is led by Prof. Dr. Karl Hofstetter, Holly Hoch, Dr. Alexander Vetterli and Matthias Hächler. The topics are the search for truth in criminal and civil proceedings, including the tension between legal certainty and falsification and between truth and justice. The series examines truth and lies across disciplines, with each session dialogically led by at least two lecturers.
