«Wie verhindern wir Femizide?»

«Wie verhindern wir Femizide?» is a discussion event held at the Gessnerallee. It is part of the series «Monatsthemen», in which the Gessnerallee discusses a current journalistic topic each month together with the audience and various editorial teams. This time the topic is the prevention of femicides: around 115 women and girls were killed in Switzerland over the past five years by former partners, husbands or fathers, even though the cantons say they take measures such as risk assessments of potential perpetrators. CORRECTIV.Schweiz talks to experts from the police, victim support and research about what effective protection from violence must look like, and the audience can ask questions.
