About
A lantern procession through the neighborhoods of Kreuzberg that, with its eleventh edition, builds on all previous ones. It is organized by the neighborhood initiative Bizim Kiez, which stands against displacement and holds the procession every November as usual. The march starts at Rio-Reiser-Platz and moves among other places via Mariannenplatz, Lausitzer Platz and Glogauer Straße. Its title, „traditionell widerständiger Laternenumzug gegen Verdrängung“ (traditional, resistant lantern procession against displacement), links its recurring character with resistance to displacement.
