About

A lantern procession under the motto "EINFACH gemeinsam MACHEN!" (simply do it together), standing up against displacement and for a social housing and urban policy in Berlin. Behind it is Bizim Kiez, which has fought displacement for years alongside neighbours, tenants' initiatives and social facilities. The procession sets out from Rio-Reiser-Platz and heads to the children's farm in Görlitzer Park, where concerts, a fire show and soup are planned. It is carried by a communally built "Kiez dragon" that unites the different lights of those taking part.
