34. Open Mike: Holzapfel and Mahmod read from debut books.

The 34. Open Mike is a reading and talk in which former finalists of the competition read from their debut books. Patrick Holzapfel and Miedya Mahmod read, hosted by Lara Sielmann. Holzapfel presents his prose debut „Hermelin auf Bänken“, in which a seated flâneur moves from bench to bench across Vienna. Mahmod reads from her poetry debut „Aus hingehaltener Zunge“, a multilingual, lament-like text opposing silencing.
