»A very old man with enormous wings« is an English-language object theatre piece based on Gabriel García Márquez's short story. Dan Colley's production uses everyday objects and figures built from kitchen utensils to tell of two storytellers who find a filthy old man with huge wings in their kitchen. While the neighbour believes he is an angel, the priest suspects an impostor because he cannot speak Latin. The stranger becomes a local sensation, drawing pilgrims who leave the place different from how they arrived.
