About
"Aufzeichnungen aus dem Kellerloch" is a theatre production based on Fyodor M. Dostoevsky at the Berliner Ensemble. Max Lindemann directs; Oliver Kraushaar plays the nameless protagonist, who relives his life in a settling of accounts, preaching and raging hopelessly. It deals with freedom, one's own life plan and the question of whether "free will" exists at all in a world that has long been calculated and sold off. Dostoevsky's work centres on the "invisible ones" who fall outside the systems and show that systems are man-made and therefore changeable.
