About
A public guided tour through the Berlin Ausstellung for blind, visually impaired and sighted people, who explore the exhibition together acoustically and by touch. Trained cultural mediators explain and describe the themed rooms and installations in detail. Participants may come up close to selected objects such as a telephone announcer, the huge steel door of the former techno club Tresor or a metal figure of the Red Sailor and feel them; objects are additionally illuminated when needed. Replicas, tangible material and listening samples make further stories tangible, and participants exchange about what they have felt or seen, enriching each other.
