About
An audio and tactile tour through the Berlinische Galerie's permanent exhibition, aimed at blind, visually impaired and sighted visitors. The tandem tour with Christine Rieger and Markus Strieder, in cooperation with Museumsdienst Berlin, explores the transformations in art at the beginning of the 20th century. Expressionists such as Otto Möller and Gottfried Benn express their subjective experience of the world in painting and lyric poetry, Otto Bartning's crystal-like Sternkirche leads to a completely new design for a sacred building, and Dada tears down the last conventions with collages, sound poems and chance music. On the tour, participants listen, touch and share their impressions with one another.
