Anderssein ist eine Superkraft
Freie Volksbühne Berlin, Ruhrstraße 6, Wilmersdorf
ab 13,00 €
About
An evening of readings, live music and conversation about being different. Musician, author and artist Elijah Presly reads from his autobiography "Anderssein ist eine Superkraft" and plays songs from the album of the same name, openly telling of his life with autism, dyslexia and severe visual impairment, of exclusion and setbacks, but also of his path to the stage. WELT journalist and bestselling author Martin Lutz guides a conversation that goes beyond the personal, tackling belonging and exclusion, mental health and resilience, and how inclusive school, culture and the workplace really are. Afterwards, the audience is invited to ask their own questions.
