About

„Den Rest hab ich verdrängt“ is a reading with Pierre Sanoussi-Bliss. The actor, director and children's book author, born in East Berlin in 1962, known from Doris Dörrie's „Keiner liebt mich“ and as Commissioner Axel Richter in the ZDF crime series „Der Alte“, grew up in East Berlin as the son of a West African father and a German mother. In his reading, he tells honestly and with a wink about belonging, identity, racism and homophobia as well as private and political struggles, successes and defeats. He is also an activist and part of the #actout campaign for more diversity in art and media.
