Priceless Things: art on care work and ecofeminist views.
Ausstellung Priceless Things
About
The exhibition "Priceless Things" at Neurotitan brings together artistic works dealing with things, relationships and practices whose value cannot be measured in money. It grows out of the 2024 project "Laden der unbezahlbaren Dinge", curated by Fenia Franz, whose concept the exhibition carries into the curatorial programme "Connecting"; among those shown are Agente Costura, Alisa Tretau, Ilgın Uçar and Kristina Popov. The works – installations, objects, photography, film and performance – address themes such as care work, ecofeminist perspectives, bodies as carriers of memory and the threat of plastic pollution, opposing an aesthetic of care to a logic of efficiency and productivity. On this day the exhibition opens with a vernissage at 6 pm featuring Constanze Klar's lecture performance "Der Preis ist Scheiss", with guided tours, artist talks and workshops to follow.
