„Bauhaus Music“ is a two-day festival at St. Elisabeth church featuring concerts and workshops. It is organised by the Bauhaus-Archiv Museum für Gestaltung in cooperation with Kultur Büro Elisabeth and funded by the German government's Commissioner for Culture and Media. It is devoted to the idea of synaesthesia and invites visitors to experience sound, colour, space, body and movement anew. The concert programme on musical modernism ranges between avant-garde, classical music, experiment and jazz, with works by Wagner, Schönberg, Debussy and Messiaen among others, plus a jazz concert around Duke Ellington.
