About

This is a Shakespeare solo comedy titled "König Richard III.", performed by Bernd Lafrenz. Richard, Duke of Gloucester, is hunchbacked and limps, and resolves to become an arch-villain, using intrigue to seize the throne still held by his brother Edward the Fourth. He turns King Edward against their brother George, woos Princess Anne with hypocritical words, and begins a scheming game of power and greed. It ends with the words: The King is dead, long live the King!
