About
"Bad Kingdom" is a theatre piece by Falk Richter, who also directs it, presented at the Schaubühne as a premiere in Saal A. The piece asks what happens to a society when more and more people lose the trust that the future can become better. People try to regain control over their lives in an increasingly unstable world, while political certainties break down and fears of social decline, war and an authoritarian future grow. A group of actors moves between film set, therapy room and a societal end-time scenario, with roles switched and stories retold.
