About
"Bild der Frau" is a guided tour led by curators through the Bode-Museum on female portrait busts of the Italian Renaissance. It is offered by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin. Only a few such busts survive worldwide, and some of them are kept at the Bode-Museum. Together visitors explore who the depicted women were and what the works tell us about beauty, status and the expectations of Renaissance society.
