Bist du sicher, Martinus? Die Tischreden der Katharina Luther
Alte Pfarrkirche Alt-Pankow, Breite Straße 37, 13187 Berlin, Pankow
About
A one-woman play in which Katharina von Bora, wife of the Reformer, speaks up at an imaginary dinner table. The piece, written and performed by Christiane Moering-Haiges, is based on Christine Brückner's book „Ungehaltene Reden ungehaltener Frauen“. It shows Katharina running the household, entertaining her famous husband and his students, and taking a stand on their words and deeds with charm and bite. Rudite Livmane provides the music on the organ.
