„HILDEGARD KNEF: ICH GLAUB', 'NE DAME WERD' ICH NIE“ is a theatre evening at the Theater im Palais in Berlin, a portrait of a modern woman. With texts and Hildegard Knef's unforgettable songs, Carl Martin Spengler (acting, vocals) and Jürgen Beyer (piano) paint a picture of the Berliner who had three brilliant careers as an actress, chanson singer and author. The stage version is by Ildiko Bognar, the musical arrangement by Ute Falkenau. The show portrays a woman of extremes who was always ahead of her time in her thinking and actions.
