About
„Bodies we fall for“ is an accessible documentary performance about love and sexuality in the Cypriot Greek dialect. Text, research and performance are by Nayia T. Karacosta and roz, with direction and research by Elena Sokratous; it was produced by Ipogeia Skini in Limassol, Cyprus. Based on real accounts, two young women tell their unfiltered, tender and inclusive truth about love live on stage, raising questions about first kisses, dating, sex and digital encounters, and above all whether all bodies have equal access to love. The evening features creative forms of accessibility such as integrated audio description, sign language interpretation, surtitles, haptic guidance and multisensory elements, treats love as a political and universal act of resistance, and is followed after a 30-minute break by a 40-minute audience talk.
