\"concert double\" Melancholie in Maßen – Doppelkonzert mit Nils Svenja & Reni (Erwachsene) (ZIMMER 16)

"concert double" is a series at ZIMMER 16 for young artists, featuring double concerts of refreshing, varied and sometimes surprising music and performance. This time it presents "Melancholie in Maßen" with Nils Svenja and Reni. Nils Svenja blends fragile, delicate singer-songwriter elements with self-destructive grunge influences and dark, dreamlike lyrics with a fondness for the surreal and absurd, addressing loneliness, the compulsion to pair off and the incorrigibility of human striving. Reni has developed her own genre with Poesiealbum-Punk: her singing ranges from silky-soft to brash, her lyrics from lyrical lethargy to raw scratchiness, and she treats world-weariness, online-dating escapades and the search for her own identity with a certain tragicomic touch.
