About
'The Lâkin and Swantje Lichtenstein duo' is a concert and reading at the Brotfabrik. Neslihan Schmidt (piano, synthesiser) and Korhan Erel (electronics) are dedicated to expanding the repertoire and performance practice for piano and live electronics, treating the piano as a resonant body altered through prepared interventions and the electronics as an independent instrument. Their programme features two commissioned works, 'Kompliment' by Gudrun Gut and 'Versenken, Ausloten' by Jessie Marino. Together with the artist, musician and poet Swantje Lichtenstein, they will also perform a structured improvisation.
