About
Author Daniela Dröscher reads from her novel „Lügen über meine Mutter“ in the lecture hall of the TU Berlin University Library. The reading is part of the campaign „Berlin liest ein Buch“ by radioeins and the German Library Association. The novel tells of a childhood in the Hunsrück in the 1980s, where the father blames the mother's overweight for everything that eludes him. Themes such as feminism, patriarchy, care work and social advancement are reflected in this „Kammerspiel namens Familie“; afterwards there is a conversation with the author and a book signing.
