About
Misha Schoeneberg reads from his book „Vielleicht wollte er gar nicht schweigen er fand bloß die Worte nicht“, accompanied by musician Michael Gerlinger, who sings songs by Leonard Cohen in German to the guitar. In this deeply personal book, the author traces the story of his father, a member of a Jewish Berlin family who survived the horrors of Auschwitz. It is about silence and speechlessness in the family, remembrance culture and the upheavals of the present up to the events of October 7. The reading takes place at Buchhandlung am Schäfersee in Berlin; advance registration is possible.
