Der kleine Lord – Das Musical: world premiere.

In winter 2026, “Der kleine Lord – Das Musical” celebrates its world premiere at the BlueMax Theater, bringing one of the great Christmas classics to the musical stage for the very first time. An award-winning team of authors – Constanze Behrends, Stephan Kanyar and Marian Lux – has turned Frances Hodgson Burnett’s bestselling novel into a heart-warming musical for the whole family, with new music, spectacular choreography and lavish stage sets. It tells of cheerful Ceddie, who grows up in modest circumstances in nineteenth-century New York until a surprising message changes everything: he is the sole heir to an English noble estate. As Lord Fauntleroy, the boy travels to his grumpy grandfather, the Earl of Dorincourt, and begins to warm even that cold heart with his love – until a woman appears claiming that her son is the rightful heir.
