About
„Der Strich und der Fleck“ is a workshop for school students held in connection with the exhibition for the Egmont-Schaefer-Preis für Zeichnung. The concept and direction come from the artist Bettina Albrecht, with registrations handled by Jasmin Grakoui of Jugend im Museum. Participants dive into the dynamic pictorial world of the artist Martin Colden and then pick up brush, ink and chalk themselves. The focus lies on expressive linework, layering and the shift between figuration and abstraction: younger children turn random blots into imaginative figures, while older grades work on controlling light-dark contrasts and abstract fields of lines.
