Egmont Schaefer Prize for Drawing: Martin Colden's Notate.

Opening of the exhibition "Notate" by Martin Colden, winner of the 15th Egmont Schaefer Prize for Drawing 2026. The prize is awarded every two years by the Berliner Kabinett e.V. to promote innovative drawing and is named after the Berlin draftsman Egmont Schaefer. Martin Colden, born in Rostock in 1955 and living in Berlin, daily and playfully explores the formal possibilities of a graphic approach to reality. His works range from the smallest notations and thematic groups of works to paper works filling whole walls. The opening begins with speeches by Annette Tietz, Volker Henze and Anne Mundo.
