The World of Banchan: cook vegetarian banchan and bibimbap.

A German-language cooking class in which participants prepare vegetarian Korean banchan together and then make bibimbap with some of them. Banchan are versatile side dishes that complete a Korean meal and play a central role in Korean food culture, where many components are served and shared together rather than one main dish. The course is led by Eun-Young Cho, who was born in Berlin to children of Korean guest workers and has been giving Korean cooking classes since 2013. Following her motto "Cooking is love", she cooks authentic Korean home-style food the way she learned it from her parents, who opened Berlin's first Korean restaurant in 1979.
