Dokumentarfotografie – Kurs mit Vincent Haiges

"Dokumentarfotografie – Kurs mit Vincent Haiges" is a workshop on documentary photography at the Fotografiska Museum Berlin. It is led by Vincent Haiges, a Berlin-based documentary photographer whose work deals with armed conflicts and human rights topics and who was awarded a World Press Photo Award in 2024. Inspired by Thomas Billhardt's humanistic approach, participants develop their own documentary project over three Mondays: finding a topic, doing research, approaching people and situations photographically, and engaging with the practical, creative and ethical questions of documentary work. The final module covers editing, presenting and pitching your images as well as forms of publication and distribution; the course is held in English.
